1. How long is the programme?
The full programme lasts for 10 weeks and participants will be based in District 6, a vibrant co-working space located in the CBD of Singapore.
2. What happens during the programme?
The programme will be structured for each start-up in terms of its stage and property focus. We will also work with you to develop general business skills from planning to production, strategy to execution. Throughout the programme you will be exposed to a range of real estate experts and potential investment partners all culminating in a final pitch event.
3. What if I am not based in Singapore?
We accept applications from anywhere in Asia and for successful applicants, we will provide the cost of economy class flights and co-working space. Accommodation and visa requirements will be up to you.
4. Do I need to be an incorporated business?
The application can be done as an independent team, but if you are selected for our programme you must be able to incorporate your business in Singapore.
5. How does Propell help me and how much equity do you take in return?
By participating in Propell, you will be testing and developing your business idea together with the support of two of the world's leading real estate businesses. JLL and Lendlease are committed to proptech and discovering new products that can improve the way we do business. The programme is divided into two phases. In the first phase of five weeks, all selected applicants will undergo intense mentoring in the basics of creating a start-up and achieving a product market fit. Participants that are selected for Phase 2 will continue with the programme for five additional weeks focused on product development and conducting proof of concept and access to key decision makers within JLL and Lendlease. These selected participants for Phase 2 will be offered a cash award of S$20,000 as consideration for an aggregate of up to 5% equity to JLL and Lendlease.


6. What are the judging criteria?
Applications are assessed on the following criteria:
  1. Product alignment for the organisers;
  2. Commercial viability and scalability
  3. Team strength and technical competency; and
  4. Overall quality of the submissions
7. What stage of start-ups are you looking for?
We are open to receiving applications from start-ups that are anywhere between ideation and pre-series A.

9. Do I need a technical team?
A technical team member is not mandatory although it is preferred.
10. What is the deadline?
Applications must be submitted by August 17, 2018. All selected teams will need to ensure they are available for the 10-week programme from September 3, 2018.
